Finding a Rental Home

Looking for a home to rent?

Thanks for checking in with us! Please read the following concerning the Denver-Aurora Area rental market. If you need to rent, we hope that we have the right home for you! The Denver Metro Area Rental Market is strong right now and many homes are renting in a day or so! If you see something you like, do not wait - go for it!

Searching for a Rental Property in the Denver - Aurora Metro area is a little different than looking for a home to purchase. When purchasing, we can search the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and match your requirements up with the 10,000+ available homes, condos, and townhomes for sale. Great to have a consolidated data base that accommodates the home-search and purchasing process! No such database exists for rentals..... And many find that lack of a database quite frustrating!

The best sources to find rental properties in the Denver - Aurora metro area include the internet, local newspapers (The Denver Post - but due to costs, the number of rentals advertised in the paper has dwindled significantly over past years), or neighborhood "For Rent" yard signs! Sorry about easy or magic answer!

If you are military or Department of Defense, you can go to which is the Automated Housing Referral Network.

When purchasing a home, there is a reciprocal agreement between the real estate agent listing the home and the agent showing the home to his or her buyer. No such reciprocal relationship typically exists in the rental world! Hence, we show only rentals our company lists - not properties listed by other property management brokerages/companies.

Our available rentals are posted on our websites! We hope that we have the home you are looking for! We look forward to serving you! Please be careful of rental scams!  And beware of companies or websites that charge you money to view available listings/rentals!  That process may be typical in other states - but not Colorado.  Proceed cautiously.....

The Cost of Renting

There are many reasons why people rent and do not buy their own home. The most common reasons we are told is that renters:

  1. Desire flexibility
  2. Are unfamiliar with the area
  3. Think they do not qualify to purchase a home, or
  4. They know that they don't qualify for a loan and want time to repair their credit

We have provided the following information just to put the cost of renting in perspective. If at some point in time you choose to purchase, please contact us and we can get you pre-qualified or pre-approved for a home loan and represent you through the home-buying process!
